Caramel Colour

Caramel Colour is the most versatile colour in terms of application and hence is one of the most widely consumed food colouring ingredients in the world. Caramel Colour is produced by heating food grade carbohydrates like Corn Syrup or Sugar in a controlled environment and in presence of alkalis. The colour is naturally stable in application conditions like acidity, direct light and high temperature.

Annato Colour

Annato colour is extracted from the seeds of a plant called Bixa Orellana which is found in America, Africa and some parts of Asia. These seed s are deep red in colour and give two pigments, Bixin which is oil soluble and Norbixin which is water soluble.

Annato has become preferred Natural Colouring option for Food and Beverage Manufacturers who want to give Yellowish Orange to Dark Orange Colour to their products. Chlorophyll Colour

Chlorophyll is a green pigment that is found in all plants that are capable of photosynthesis and it has thus always been a key component of our diet. Chlorophyll Colour is derived from three main vegetable or plant sources namely Spinach, Alfalfa and Nettles. It is oil soluble pigment and provides and olive green shade of colour.

Copper Chlorophyllin is obtained by the coppering of Chlorophyll which follows its alkaline hydrolysis. The improved stability and brightness of Copper Chlorophyllin leads to its much wider use than Chlorophyll as a food colour.

Curcumin Colour

Curcumin is the principle pigment of Turmeric and provides a bright, strong yellow colour. This pigment is extracted from the plant as an oleoresin which is then further purified to strengthen and stabilize the colour.

Curcumin is an oil soluble pigment that is available in convenient water dispersible forms that are used in a wide range of Food Products. It is extremely heat stable and may generally be used in products that fall in the acid pH range.

Red Beet Root Colour

Red Beet Root Colour is extracted from Beet Juice which is obtained from the roots of the vegetable Beta Vulgaris. These pigments present in the Beet Root are known as Betalains which are further classified in Red Betacyanin.


Red Beet Root Colour provides a bright red to bluish red colour depending on the application and pH levels of application.
